How to turn read only into read write?

Okay so, when my brother downloaded Linux Bazzite onto my computer, he didn't know it was read-only and my ONLY issue that I can personally see is EVERYTHING is stuck as "read-only" in the system files.
I can download apps through the terminal, I downloaded SAI 2.0 by myself - however, I'm trying to download Google Drive because that's where my art is stored.
I'm a visual learner so... all these "Do this, this, this and that-" type stuff? It kills the man.
I did try to connect my google account to the drive already in the dolphin folder but it's not responding to me very well.
Help would be appreciated, and if you need to question me thoroughly to help me please go ahead.
