Bazzite desktop freezes on screen wake.

My Bazzite desktop, with Nvidia setup, non deck. computer completely freezes when it wakes up.
Originally I thought it was because of my lockscreen. So I disabled it.
The computer apparently keeps working nicely until the moment I click on a button or move the mouse. it will show me the screens, but everything is frozen and the clock does not progress from the moment the screen turns on.
I can still do things through ssh.
I did try to get a virtual display to work but have removed the kargs parameters from my setup.
Any idea on where I should look further to figure out this problem?
