Bug Report: Multi-Account Discord - Guild Channel Routing Issue
Setup:
4 Discord bots in same guild: Alfred (default), Warren, Axel, Zoe
Each bot has own accountId in channels.discord.accounts
Bindings set to route messages to appropriate agents based on accountId
requireMention: false on default account to capture all messages
Working:
DM to any bot account - works, identity preserved
Mentions in general channel - works
Can manually post as any bot using message(accountId="zoe", ...)
Not Working:
Guild channel mentions in channels OTHER than general (e.g., #calendar-events, #market-updates) - messages NOT received
Agent auto-replies from spawned subagents - responses get swallowed (auto-routing bug for non-default accounts)
Root Cause Suspected:
When multiple bot accounts are in same guild, only default account processes guild messages reliably
Subaccount guild messages appear to be ignored or deduplicated
Auto-reply routing doesn't work for non-default accounts (even when agent runs, reply doesn't send)
Workaround Attempted:
Added explicit message() tool calls in agent instructions - agents don't follow consistently (MiniMax M2.5)
Can manually post as other bots using message tool with accountId - works fine
Reproduction: Multiple bots in one guild, try mentioning @Zoe in a non-general channel - no response.
Would appreciate any guidance on proper multi-account Discord setup or if this is a known limitation. Thanks!
