Displays connected to a usb c hub failing to show video

question

Hey all I seem to be having some sort of issue where my two displays connected to a usb hub are failing to display video. I've tried installing the displaylink driver that comes with the operating system but that fails and I've tried installing displaylink-rpm from GitHub but that also doesn't work

The usb c hub works for everything else

Running bazzite 43 desktop edition
