MiniMax image input not working in webchat
Hey folks, hoping someone can help troubleshoot an issue.
Setup:
Running MiniMax M2.5 (configured with "input": ["text", "image"] in config)
Also have Claude Sonnet 4.5 configured
The problem:
When I paste a screenshot in webchat, it works fine with Claude
When I switch to MiniMax, the image doesn't get processed — I only see a URL string instead of the actual image data
MiniMax then tries to curl/fetch that URL, but it's just a URL string, not an actual image it can analyze
Expected:
MiniMax should receive and analyze the pasted image the same way Claude does.
What I've tried:
Config shows "input": ["text", "image"] for MiniMax M2.5
Gateway restart didn't help
Anyone seen this? Is this a known issue or is there something I'm missing?
