Kind of a 2-in-1 issue? First, I installed an empty M.2 SATA SSD for some extra storage. Nothing crazy. But it has not and still does not show up under Bazzite as a mountable drive at all? Do I need to look for it and do something with it in the BIOS first?
The other issue is very similar. I have the HDD from my last PC, which was a Windows machine. The only issue this drive should have, to my knowledge, is the install of Windows 10 that was on it had some system32 stuff corrupt due to a messed-up power cycle (it was in the process of shutting down when a power outage hit and I don't exactly have the money for a UPS), necessitating a fresh OS install... Something I refuse to do because I have important files on that are irreplaceable, and I was never able to back them up for various reasons, most of them financial. I have a USB-C to SATA adapter for trying to read it, and it doesn't show up at all. Could this be an issue with the adapter? Or could it be something where SATA drives need stuff done in the BIOS to be mountable? Or is it some other issue where I need some specific tool to try and save what's on this drive? It's not encrypted, and I don't even need all of the files on it, so if Bazzite can access the files at all so I can just save what I need & transer that to one of my current drives, that would be fantastic.
