ADS/Alt fire issues

I've come across similar things on forums/online and I guess my issue was mainly noticed with melee since i hardly ever use ADS, but now any time I do right click with a melee weapon, i switch to a weapon with ads capability and it's just perma ADS.
It's annoying, after resetting my key binds, disabling hold/enabling toggle and reverse, I even removed all evidence of Riot software from my PC and reinstalled, and it has not helped this issue.
My only current solution is to unbind my alt fire key and just hope I don't play someone who uses that as part of their ability lineup.
Has anyone found an actual fix? Or is this still the same "nobody cares enough to fix it, you just deal with it" issue everywhere online talks about?
It was literally fine until an update I got three days ago. I guess I don't need to heal myself or throw a flash to the right.
