Website suddenly returns 404 Not Found (nginx)

Hey! So the website has been up and running just fine for a year and a half now. Suddenly last week, evey page, except for the home page leads to 404.
This only happens on the live version, if I run it locally, everything runs smoothly.
I did get an email from a few days ago saying Action Required, and that I needed to validate the domain to renew its SSL certificate. It said the expiration date for the SSL was Mar 24, so I haven't done that yet.
I did however just now review the certificate request and pressed "Approve Certificate"
Could this be the reason why everything except the homepage is down and still remains down, or is there anything else I can check?
