Asus Zephyrus G14 Audio Volume Buttons Do Not Work Properly

I'm experiencing exactly what is described in this github ticket: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/3388
My volume buttons do not change the actual loudness of the audio. It looks like this issue was fixed as this ticket is closed, but I'm on the latest version of Bazzite stable and still have this issue.
Has anyone figured out a solution to this?
