I want to get just a lil bit better

I’ve been playing Valorant for under a month, I think I’m below average, I only get 12 kills if lucky and I only know how to use Vyse, I want to know the maps and the characters better. I’m just hoping to get some tips on whatever would get me a lil bit better at the game.
