ASUS Laptop not waking from sleep

I would love to use Linux even while out or at school but when I put it to sleep, no matter the input or anything, the screen stays black. I tried many solutions online but none worked.
I am dual booting with windows, have an 4060, i7-13th gen, 16gb of ram.
I am new to Linux, so my best theory from online forums is that it's an ASUS problem or a NVIDIA driver problem.
