Auto pregen for plugin?

PluginHello, I have just a quick question i'm curious about. I just installed the plugin on my server, is it normal for it to automatically start pregen for all existing chunks when I join? (I have a bunch, the server is a decent size) It seems to stop when I leave, the stop/pause commands don't do anything it just says no pregen running in (world)
the status command shows its generating, as does the actionbar message. The status command however doesn't show the estimated time like the actionbar message does, even when the pregen is started with the command.
Sorry if I missed info on this in the FAQ, search bar or wiki docs. I might've skimmed over it and missed it.
Not that big of an issue, my server handles it pretty well, I'm just curious why I cant stop/pause it. Should I just turn off the actionbar message and ignore it?
