Discord Bot Status

We’re running an OpenClaw agent with the Discord channel and would like the bot’s presence to reflect its current activity (e.g., “Thinking...”, “Scraping news”, etc.). The straightforward approach is a separate status‑bot process that writes a status.json file and uses its own token to call client.user.setActivity(). However, the gateway already uses the same bot token and owns the WebSocket connection—Discord only allows one active gateway per token, so the two processes would keep disconnecting each other. We want to avoid forking repo if possible. Is there an existing plugin/hook system in OpenClaw to extend the Discord channel (e.g., add a file watcher or IPC) so the gateway itself can update its status without a separate process? Or any other recommended pattern?
