Two statuses when running /status in discord

So I had this a while back, and you helped me fix an issue with the gateway and the cli (I believe) being on two different versions of openclaw. Not the case now, but when I run a /status within discord, I am once again getting two statuses. This may have reappeared after a system update, but I'm not sure. I am on v2026.3.1
Solution
That actually helps a lot — and it points to a very specific (and slightly goofy) edge-case:
- When you do native Discord
- When you send a message that contains
1) an inline
2) a standalone command, because for group messages OpenClaw strips the bot mention before command parsing — so
So it can execute “status” twice and you see two identical replies.
If you want to avoid this class of duplication entirely: disable text commands on Discord and rely on native commands:
- When you do native Discord
/status- When you send a message that contains
@Openclaw Bot /status1) an inline
