xbox ally x mouse toggle not working

So I have had an ally x and recently switched to an Xbox ally X and things have been fine for the most part but one thing I miss is the mouse mode toggle it does not properly work I thought bazzite devs forgot to add it or took it out for the new handhelds but every time I hold down the rog button on top left I get one vibration and that’s it in game mode it never switches to desktop mode and in desktop it never switches to normal or is usable without steam open. I remember on the rog ally X there was a double vibration whenever you switched that allowed u to use mouse mode in desktop and in game mode and without steam open (I think it’s called lizard mode)
I saw on a GitHub issue that someone mentioned the latest unstable build has fixed this for now but every time I try unstable handheld daemon just disappears and I can’t manually get it back and the testing and stable builds do not have this fixed. I’m kinda stuck right now if anyone could share an actual fix I would love to use it
