Ban for throwing?

I was banned for a year for "throwing"? I mean there are times where ive vocalized that i was going to throw but ive never truly thrown a game. Sure I've played bad. and sometimes put a smoke on top of a teammate when they run their mouths. but i haven't thrown. Didn't even get a warning or anything either. First offense.
