Brave Search not working after update 3.2
Web search configured globally but unavailable in agent runtime (“web search tool is not connected”)
What I configured
- tools.web.search.enabled = true
- tools.web.fetch.enabled = true
- Brave API key set (tested both in config and via BRAVE_API_KEY env var)
- Restarted gateway multiple times
Reproduction
1. Enable web search:
2. Set key and restart gateway.
3. Run:
(same for agent sasa)
Actual behavior
Agent responds with:
- “web search tool is not connected in this session”
- or equivalent “tool unavailable” message
Expected behavior
If tools.web.search.enabled=true and key is valid, agent runtime should have web search tool available and return search result
links.
