I'm using controller as my primary input method on desktop (steam controller). So the only way to utilize keyboard is the steam virtual keyboard.
Using it in default English language doesn't have any issues. The issue appears after adding any secondary non-latin language. The button to switch language on VK appears, I can press it, but pressing it just drives any keyboard button to be useless aside of number keys.
So I can press any button of non-latin VK, but not only no input is registered, but the row where I initially wanted to put my text loses focus after the very first non-latin "signal".
I have tried to change virtual keyboard settings inside KDE general settings, by adding the second language as the viable option too. But this "solution" has strange behavior too:
Another, non-latin language will not "shoot" any of its letters via virtual keyboard, unless PRIOR to opening VK I switch language manually on the bottom right of the system tray from EN to whatever language I want to use. And yet, after that, this new language works only as long as VK is set to English; so I press English letters on VK, but the output will be on the language I set before bringing VK up.
Is there a way to fix it without workarounds? OR Is it possible to put it up somewhere so it will be fixed with the next update?
This issue does not exist on SteamOS!
