I seek to:
- Enhance organic player interaction and encourage centralisation (I avoid warps, tpa and homes) therefore chest shops are chosen over command-based shop and ah guis
- Avoid hampering the rest of the game by making the currency an essential item
- Have a high amount of control over the economy, so no ores as you cant take them out of the world (plus they would cause excessive mining that would destroy the environment)
- Make small-scale and large-scale trades possible. That means there needs to be denominations. Something too cheap would make it impossible to store, something too valuable and you'd literally never be able to buy a single piece of bread.
- Have the currency be obtainable outside of trade because it needs to get in the economy in the first place. So no signed book fiat because I'd have to manually distribute those as stimulus checks.
- Note: Economic sinks for any currency I have figured out, no need to consider that
- Prefer currencies that err on the side of deflation because it's easier to add currency than take it out
- Digital, non-item currencies just feel less real and less vanilla
- Must require a time investment; time is true currency. The currency must therefore obviously not be autofarmable
I also need help on what plugins I would or should use to accomplish this
