Agens set up
Hi, I need some help with my OpenClaw setup.
I successfully installed OpenClaw on my Windows server. The gateway is running, node is running, and the dashboard works at 127.0.0.1:18789. Health status is OK and my Telegram bot is connected as well.
The problem is that my agent currently behaves only like a chat assistant. It can respond and explain things, but it cannot actually execute code on the server or act as a real coding agent. When I ask it to run commands or work with files, it says the environment is limited to the workspace.
My goal is to use it for coding and server automation (basically vibe coding), where the agent can edit files in my project folder and run scripts like deploy/status/backup on the host.
So my question is:
How do I turn the OpenClaw agent into a real execution agent that can interact with the host system (run scripts, modify files, run commands), instead of just acting as a chat interface?
Do I need to configure a specific tool, exec bridge, node permission, or workspace setting for this?
