Disco Elysium crashes on boot

I'm using Zorin OS, all AMD setup. I installed both the game (Epic Store) and Heroic using the Heroic Wiki, it's a flatpack version 2.20.1. I followed all the steps in the wiki but the game just refuses to boot. I tried it on both GE Proton Latest and GE Proton 10-32. Weirdly, I first tried it on Linux Mint and it had the same problem, then I moved to PopOS and it worked out of the box. But PopOS has a bug currently where it doesn't recognize my drawing tablet, so I gave Zorin OS a shot and I'm having the same problem as on Mint. Log: https://0x0.st/PeeW.log
