pnpm + @nuxtjs/sitemap error

I'm getting the following error when trying to install the @nuxtjs/sitemap in nuxt 4.0.1, I've tried every suggestion from ai, removing node modules, removing pnpm lock etc, nothing has worked and I get the same issue on another machine so it seems to be something related to pnpm as i managed to install it with yarn. any Ideas??
