Rocket League (Epic) stuck on "Press any button to start"

I'm unable to progress past the start screen. When I press a button, nothing happens or it just stays frozen on the Season 21 splash screen.
Solution
Can't reproduce this here, game runs fine
- Have you tried verifying your game files? (game details page -> 3-dot menu in the top-right -> "Verify and Repair"
- This is a long shot, but perhaps try re-downloading GE-Proton? ("Wine Manager" in the sidebar, download "GE-Proton10-32", then select it in the game settings)
After that, delete your Wineprefix (the folder above) again, and re-run the game
