I had an older install on my ROG Ally which i removed while trying to re-install bazzite.
So far i have tried multiple different ISOs, the checksums are fine,
I do not have a USB-C / USB-A adapter, nor do i have a usb-c flash drive
The SSD, Flash drives and hardware are fine are NOT failing
i have used DD, Fedora Media Writer, Rufus, and BalenaEtcher to write the iso to the flash drives.
This is a quick summary of the issues i have encountered so far.
the installer cannot continue due to a critical error. installation of the system failed, creating ext4 on /dev/nvme0n1p2
installation failed; deployment starting: ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-deck:stable
i have to use a USB Hub to install it, and i've tried multiple, and each one i come into various issues.
I have verified that i can get an internet connection.
The time is set correct.
Is there anything that can be done without taking out the SSD and installing it on an entirely different system, then putting it back in the ROG Ally?
Currently there is no other OS'es on the drive... i cannot turn secure boot back to enter ASUS cloud recovery as attempting to enable it, then saving and exiting results in it resetting to disabled... meaning this device is baically e-waste at the moment.
