Reflections of Life: Dark Architect crashing after splash screens

Ok, I've asked for help previously with this game freezing - Reflections of Life freezing - Frame Rate Limiter? - but this is a different, new, issue, so hopefully this won't count as a duplicate post.
Even thought the game would freeze at random points, I was at least able to play SOME before that happened. Still never got an answer as to why that is, but... Now, all of a sudden a few days ago, the game will not even play. When I click on "Play Now" in Heroic, the game starts and loads. The splash screens/animations play and I am brought to the main game menu. When I click "Play" there, the game crashes with these errors:
"unknown exception in Run ()" and "unknown exception in main ()"
As annoying as the random freezing was, at least I could play. Sometimes. Somewhat. Any help getting it back to even that state would be greatly appreciated.
