Steam Link black screen

I'm having frequent black screens when playing through Steam Link. Today I realized it only happens if I touch the screen. If I use an attached controller, games play fine. 1 touch on the screen makes it go black, and I have to stop and restart the game to resume. While on the black screen, I still hear audio and have a cursor.
The Steam UI works fine. I only have this issue in game, but it doesn't seem to be dependent on the game (that I can tell so far).
