except only started showing up after updating to latest version. previously my boot times were in the 15-20s range, now they're in the 45-50s range. is it okay to just mask it with
sudo systemctl mask systemd-udev-settle
any risk associated with doing this?
Solution
ran
sudo systemctl mask systemd-udev-settle
boot times returned to normal and no negative consequences so far, service appears to prevent an SDDM issue with AMD gpus on fedora-based distros but i have nvidia so maybe not causing issues because of that (https://github.com/sddm/sddm/issues/1917)(
