Crackling audio on Xbox ally white

My device is the white Xbox ally z2a, stock bazzite.
Whenever it boots up, there is a loud crackling audio from the speakers, also when switching to desktop mode.
It's very jarring and sounds like it's damaging the speakers.
How do I fix this?
