I'm having an odd issue with Desktop Bazzite (KDE) display scaling and in game resolutions.
My display's (Samsung G75f) native resolution is 5120x2160. However, when i have monitor scaling at 100% (unusably small i note), every game i launch behaves as if my native resolution is instead 9728x4104. No game lists or recognises the resolution of 5120x2160 at all.
This is obviously 1) not the native resolution of my monitor and 2) causes performance to absolutely crater, since driving that many super-sampled high-res pixels is next to impossible.
If i raise the scaling on my monitor to 200%, games behave as if the native resolution is now 6144x3456 (still pretty ludicrous). Again, not my native resolution and no game even recognises 5120x2160 as an available option.
The changes continue as i raise the level of scaling on the display, but at no point is the actual native resolution of the panel reached or recognised.
I've tried fresh reinstalling the OS twice and the issue persists. I'm at something of a loss at this point.
Any insight would be appreciated.
