Bazzite won't launch games

Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this, my Bazzite installation on a HTPC was previously working just fine over the last year - but today it's no longer launching games.
It'll boot into Game mode and launch steam, my Bluetooth controller will pair (8bitdo pro 2) and I can navigate steam interface. If I launch a game, it gets stuck on "Starting launch..." And no amount of waiting helps.
The controller now becomes unresponsive and I cannot back out of the launch of the game. If I connect a steam controller, it cannot back out of the launch process either.
If I hold the steam button down to turn it into "lizard" mode and treat it like a mouse and keyboard, the cursor appears but clicking on any of the UI such as the back button does nothing.
The only thing that works is hard resetting the PC. Then the cycle repeats.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X
MOBO: ROG STRIX B850-I GAMING WIFI
GPU: AMD 9070 XT
RAM: 2x16GB Cors Veng 5600MHz AMD
STORAGE: 2TB SSD
OS: Bazzite stable branch, updated fully as of March 18th.

Success! It's launching now, I guess the reinstall of Steam did it, thanks!
