Steam Game Showing as Running when Launching Games Installed Through Heroic Launcher in Gaming Mode

Something weird is going on when I launch a game installed with Heroic Launcher from Gaming Mode. It will stay on the Steam Loading screen but I can hear audio from the game. If I open side menu, Steam shows both the game I launched and another game as running (for me it's always Psychonauts which isn't even installed). I can switch to the game I launched but if I try to go "back" to the Steam game, I go back to the loading screen. This happens even with native Linux games installed through Heroic Launcher. Unsure if this is a Heroic, Steam, or Bazzite issue.
