Sluggish UI & Performance

New Bazzite user!
I love the OS and will be sticking with it. That being said, it's noticeably sluggish compared to my Windows 10 install.
There's micro-stutters whenever I open anything or alt-tab. Spectacle takes 3 seconds on average to open up. This is all in X11, as it was like 15% worse in Wayland.
For a heavy gaming comparison:
I'm running Elden Ring on lowest settings and I'm getting mid-40's fps average on Bazzite, where on Windows I'd be able to hit ~80 consistently, even higher in indoor areas. The screenshot of my sensors show that both CPU & GPU aren't really hitting past 60 degrees? So it's not thermal throttling.
(yes elden ring is capped at 60, but I modded it to remove it).
Anyone have any tips for me left to try?
