(I use Rollup on my own projects, and ES Modules are the way forward, especially with Durable Objects / Workers’ Modules API)

one way is to fetch from inside the DO, and cache the colo field from that trace

iirc module workers are now passed a property on each incoming fetch request, so is defined for the incoming worker request, but the passed to your DO's still does not have the property (I just double-checked) - it makes sense since many of the custom properties don't apply for the internal DO fetch calls, but a colo accessor (maybe on ?) would certainly be useful

I believe that DOs persist in one colo, until they are shut down. Once they are triggered again, they are reinitialized in the nearest DO-ready colo to the incoming request.

According to your log above, it seems that because there was an extended period of time with no requests, it was terminated(FRA). Once someone else triggered it(Me, probably), it was reestablished in the nearest Colo(SJC) to my request.
