Wrong version installed [server install]

Hi there, i'm trying to get the version 2025.02.3.0 to run on a server that i em providing for someone. Using Ptero to run the server, Egg is from https://pterodactyleggs.com/egg/6735ff6f4924a4e9bbcc2ca2 Now what im doing is putting that number into the Tmodloader Version and doing a reinstall. (see image for clear text). It keeps on installing Preview. Anyone know a solution?...

Access Exception not fixed even after following troubleshooting guide.

I think there's a deeper problem. When I launch tmodloader, I get the screenshotted error message, but the game still starts up regardless after I press 'Ok'; then, I get an in game access exception error message about being unable to use the files 'lastusedmods.txt', or 'enabled.json', or something similar. I have tried letting files through windows antivirus (I don't have any other antivirus software that I am aware of), tried turning off read-only access for most files, tried letting all thre...

tModLoader constantly crashing

Since 2 or 3 days ago, I cannot play for more than 5 minutes before the game crashes again and again, I read a message on the .NET pop-up that is has something to do with a mod (either Starlight River or Terraria Overhaul, for what I understood), but needhelp to checkk what exactly is causing it and if possible, how to fix it.

save/backup worlds and characters to a USB

so i just recieved all the parts for my new pc that im about to build and of course I want to keep all my worlds and saves and shit but idk how to do allat yk can i just copy the characters and worlds from my terraria folder to the usb drive folder?...

low fps near/underground

as title says, i get 50-60 fps when im above ground but once im standing on the ground or underground my frames drop to 30-40 any help?...

Cant uninstall mod

Hello, I have a problem, it's that I am unable to uninstall the mod "Calamity mod infernum mode", I can't find it in my files, when I try to download it on the work in 1.20 it only gives me 1.9 and I can't load it to be able to play it it gives me an error message every time 😦

Game mode not turning on for Mac when launching TML

I'm using macOS Sequoia 15.2 with an M1 Max chip, and I just realized my game gets super laggy because Game Mode doesn't activate when I launch TML. I’ve played way more CPU-intensive games without issues, so I’m pretty sure this is the cause. Apple doesn’t let you turn on Game Mode manually (for whatever stupid reason), and the official site says it should turn on automatically when you go full-screen in a game. That works for Terraria and other Steam games but not for TML. Any help or solution? It gets so laggy that it's near impossible to play during boss fights or events....

Crash when chopping down tree

tModLoader online issue

Hello, I've been trying everything for the past few days and I cannot find a fix. If anyone has any suggestions please, anything helps. I've been trying to play Calamity with my friend (List of mods: https://imgur.com/a/ouKV6J5) and every time I try to join a server it says "Syncing mods" or "reload complete, joining". None of these actually join the server no matter what I do. I've been thinking it's beacuse I'm on linux and he's on windows but that shouldn't make a difference right? Also, he's using steam version of tml (I have terraria and he's not that good with computers) and I'm using the github one (start-tModLoaderFamilyShare.sh this is the one I use to start tml). We're connected through Hamachi and vanilla terraria works like a charm (even in tml without mods we did join the server) no matter who hosts the server he can join and I keep on seeing "syncing mods" or whatever. I cannot fix it no matter what. I want to point out that I've read troubleshooting tips and none of them are. I want to list what I've done: both used windows (hes on 10, I used 23H2) reinstalled tml multiple times...
