Setup Auto Reboot / Auto Backups for a curseforge modpack server
So I just created a server for the first time. I am hosting it on an oracle vm instance and it is running a modpack that I installed. The server is working, but I want to setup auto backups daily and reboots every 2 hours. I assume I need to setup a cronjob and use a bash script somehow, but I'm not exactly sure the best way to go about it and can't find much online. Does anyone do this and would be able to help me out?

Fabric Server kicking player when joining from Velocity
For some reason, when a player join my fabric server (1.12) from velocity (1.21), it immediately kicks them with no error. The fabric server uses Fabric Proxy Lite.

Deleting [Better] Nether and End
Hello guys, I have a Fabric 1.20.1 server that has the mods Better End and Nether. I want to replace them with Incendium and Nullscape but I probably need to edit some values in level.dat and delete DIM1, DIM-1. Can you guys tell me the exact things I need to do? Thanks.
Migrating player inventories and spawn points
im moving my players inventories from one world to another and used nbtexplorer to remove everything but the inventory items from the dat files in playerdata
the problem is that the players spawn at 0,0,0 instead of the world spawn
do i need to add something to the playerdata in order for the players to spawn at the world spawn point?...

Memory Swap usage at 97%, server crashing on async tasks
How fix? Server has never hit it's max 20gigs, has issues even with no players online. Just started crashing badly today. Hosted on bisect if that helps any, they recently changed panel to Aurora which has been an unwelcome change lol any ideas? Let me know what sort of information you might need to help solve!
Discord chat integration ethics?
Hey guys, I was just trying to get varying opinions on the general feeling of chat integration on Discord on a small community focused server. I'm kinda torn between it right now because while it would be cool to communicate with people on the server through Discord while you're away, as well as being a powerful moderation tool, I feel like it could also be used by normal members for creeping on conversations while players are otherwise unaware of someone's presence on the Discord side of things...

I’ve always wanted to make a host but never had resources. I’ve now got resources and a constant flow of cash. What should I do to make my host be good. What features should the panel be. Is it a problem if I’m < 16?
Server TPS very low on a pretty heavily modded Fabric Server
Hey there, I've been having issues today with my MC server. I can't really tell if it's the garbage collector having issues or what but whatever I try, my TPS seems to be averaging at around 12.
We have around 9-12 people on the server on launch day, and the server has not been keeping up with the player amount. We're also running around 160 Mods on the server.
The server I'm running has 16GB + 6 Cores (Ryzen 9 5950X acording to the Berrybyte which is the host of the dedicated server)...

Chunk overload problem
So, we are did a server for a semi-big project (150 players in one world) and we have problem with too many chunks generated, even with pregened chunks. Is it solvable?

Heavily modded 1.12.2 Idle server skipping ticks
I have a 1.12.2 server. It's running on Windows 11 with OpenJDK java, 12GB allocated RAM and a Ryzen 5 4500.
Every 45s or so freezes for 2s., and the console spams the "Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?" message. I'm using spark, aikar flags and a couple of performance tools, but can't figure what is causing the issue. I'm guessing GC but i'm not sure.

Wind Charges don't work when used by players

Basically wind charges work when they come from breezes attacking players, but players themselves can't use them, does anyone have an idea why? I've been toying with settings for days to no avail
1.21 Paper server...
Item Adder is giving me alot of grief
This is the error I've recieved after trying 3 different versions of the ItemAdder plugin on spigot as well as LoneLibs that goes with it, I've also changed the JRE version to 65/Java 21 and still receiving this error, any advice would help.
