Group spawns essentialsXspawn and luckperms
i want different luckperm groups to have different spawns because im making a kingdom style server with my friends. There is a "Default" group for players without a kingdom. that spawn needs to be in the spawn area. Then i want to set different spawns inside of the kingdoms for the different kingdom groups. I cant get this to work because no matter what essentials debug says the player is always in the "default" group

I have a Minecraft network, I use itemsadder to automatically install a customized texturepack, and I apply the texture with lobfile, I have a lobby and a towny server, with different textures, but I use the same lobfile, the problem is that when I enter the towny server the texture doesn't apply, how can I fix it?

Alright, so it's time for me and my friends to play our annual 2 weeks of Minecraft. I've got a server hosted on AWS as I have a bunch of credits on there, so it'll be free. I understand using a dedicated host would be better, but I'm doing this as a learning exercise too.
My server is currently hosted on an AWS EC2, with a launch script configured to run the server whenever I boot the EC2. It works great and I can connect to it.
I've also written a react webpage dashboard that uses APIgateway + lambda to ping the EC2, and report whether the server is online. If is it not, it also allows the EC2 to be launched from a button on the dashboard. All this is working and hosted online....
I dont load properly when I join my own Server
Running a ATM9 server for me and some friends, starting today this is how i load in, I take no DMG while in the void my hot bar is empty, if i try to open inv I crash, I dont have accesses to commands.
If i connect to the server using a free vpn i load in fine.
ive tried restarting the server flushing my DNS restarting My PC....

Player balancing
How i can balance players between servers? I have a minigame server and a want to do like the example:
* Player joined server Lobby-1 and want to play a minigame, than, he clicks on the specific minigame NPC (who will execute a command).
* The NPC will send him to the better server possible, based on player count, etc

Help me figure out what im doing wrong with resource packs?
I am trying to get going with custom mobs on my server and this needs resource packs. i have purchased some models from mcmodels and feel like i have followed instructions to a tee but i cannot get textures to load.
I have gone back to try and troubleshoot this directly from the client and can not figure out what I am doing wrong.
i recorded a short video of a snippet of what i am doing. i would expect that the hedgehog has its texture....

So that if all players are in the same group they cant pvp with eachother but they can attack players from other groups
Server pack or client pack
Hi, aside from the client side mods, is there really a difference between the two? I plan on using this https://docker-minecraft-server.readthedocs.io/en/latest/types-and-platforms/mod-platforms/auto-curseforge/ but apparently it downloads the client pack instead and I'm afraid it'll differ from the server pack (server configs?)

I'm new to public server hosting, and I'm trying to work out the framework of how to run a server with monetization. I would like to offer simple cheap stuff like cosmetics, hats, etc. and accept donations and I'm not sure where to start with researching the best option. TIA!
A way to ignore Mojang suspensions?
My friend recently got suspended from Mojang because they said "fuck" and were reported by a transphobe who was later banned for transphobia. Does anyone know if there is a way to ignore Mojang suspensions so I can have full control over who can and can't join my server? I know there's a way to disable chat reporting and I've enabled it now but it would be nice to allow my friend who is now suspended to still join my server

I found a server software called PlazmaMC and LeavesMC and I they both said that they were performance forks of papermc should I use them or should I use something like pufferfish or papermc?

i use core protect rollback to give other players chance to loot the trial chambers but this message are spamming the console
Looking for specific plugin for PVP server.
Is there a plugin that exists that will make players in close proximity make a noise. I am making an anarchy type server with leaderboard for PVP kills and I am trying to make it easier to find players that are close to others by making players make noises when they are within range, any ideas would be great. Thanks!
How hard is it to build (compile) a plugin?
I am tempted to purchase raytraceantixray since i'm updating to 1.20.4, but I remember being told by PGDK that it was a bad buy because no support will be given and that it was best to compile it yourself. I was wondering if there is significant time/knowledge investment in doing so and whether it would be best for me to just buy it for the easy download.

Resources for finding good servers for minecraft modded
Hi all,
I currently run a fabric modded server, which was migrated from a vanilla server. I've started running into performance issues when people are generating chunks with an elytra, and while I could pregen, I don't want to up the world size needlessly and it's addressing a symptom and not the cause imo.
That being said, where do you guys go to get your fabric-optimized hardware? I've done labgopher, but I'm down to spend like 1k AUD on a decent server. To my understanding, the most important things are single core performance and fast RAM?...
