first time user for Oracle Cloud problems/questions

Disc2MC forge 1.20.1

just installed mc2disxord on my 1.20.1 forge server, then installed Luckperms, it still worked then, and then I installed BetterChatForge and it stopped registering players messages, i need BetterChat so I can show ranks in game, any idea how to fix this?

Setting up a server with UPnP

I'm trying to set up a server to play with my friends, but my router settings don't seem to allow me to manually set up port forwarding. There is an option that allows for UPnP that is turned on, but the server stil;l cannopt be accessed by anybody but me. I have a plume router with the settings accessed through homesense.

What am I missing about Oracle Cloud?

When I research about server hosts, I always see people recommending Oracle Cloud. I previously used Oracle Cloud for over a year for multiple 100+ modpacks with around 8 people, and the server would be great at the beggining, but eventually the TPS would start to tank and that would be the point of no return, it'd be unbearable to play. I had always thought I had a poorly optimized modpack, but after my friend offered to pay for a server host, immediately it became clear that it was Oracle Clou...

Plugins can't connect to databases on Oracle Cloud

My Oracle Cloud DB setup is chalked making it very hard to use it as a testing environment.

If I use 127.0.0.1 as the db host: allows me to create databases, plugins can't connect to them If I use 172.18.0.1 as the db host: same as above If I use FQDN as the db host: There was an error while trying to connect to the host or while executing a query: "SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] No route to host (Connection: dynamic, SQL: SELECT 1 FROM dual)"

On my other server I was able to use the FQDN and it worked just fine. Not sure what I'm doing wrong this time. Just to go down the list:...

I can't load into my velocity server

When I try to load in I try to join my server but can't. I belive it is port forwarded correctly.
