Having an issue with "insta-mining"

Hey everyone, I'm experiencing an issue with insta-mining on my server, and it seems like other players are facing the same problem. The strange part is that this doesn't happen on other servers, so it's definitely something specific to ours. It feels like there's a cooldown on pickaxes, similar to the one you get when attacking with a sword. I can’t figure out what might be causing it....

Server Optimisation

As its been the holidays my SMP server has been getting more active with player counts around 20-30 but the server is starting to lag at even 22 players when it used to be able to do 30 players at 20 TPS back in September on the same hardware. I've fiddled around with some optimisations such as reducing the per player mob cap but nothing seems to work. Any advice would be apricated :)) The world is pre generated....

Server out of memory - no logs

I recently upgraded to a better machine with a ryzen 9 3550x3d and about ~150gb ram. One of my servers have recently been out of memory, with a player count of about 40-60 online daily. I have allocated about 16gb to the server. There are no logs detailing the crash and no file gets created when the server crashes. Any assistance regarding this would be nice

Searching vps/kvm Server host in EU (Germany)

Hey, im currently looking for a new host in germany to host multiple minecraft servers/discord bots/pterodactyl and other small side projects i have with the time where i want to focus more on single core performance. are there any recommendations? my budget is 15-20€ and currently on my list there is Datalix & HT-Hosting which i found to be pretty cheap & good. Now since i never used them i dont know if those are the correct choices, any tips are appreciated 😄

Velocity - How do I handle "rejoins"?

My apologies if this is a stupid question, but I checked the docs and did some searching to no avail. Back when I was on waterfall/bungee, there was a simple config setting to allow players to rejoin the server they were on when they left. For example, when someone first joins domain.example, they go to the lobby server. From there they go to the SMP Server. They play a bit and then leave. When they join again via domain.example, I want that player to go straight back to the SMP Server, but at the moment, they are sent to the lobby....

Port Forwarding issues

I can access the server locally but not publicly (outside my local network) even though the port is forwarded. I tried from my phone hotspot so I don't think its interference with the local network.

I am having a problem opening my Minecraft up to LAN

So me and my girlfriend are just trying to play a modpack and we both have all the same mods same minecraft version and everything but she is only able to join my world for like 2 seconds before it kicks her and my computer which has a ethernet cable plugged in so does hers just disconnects and wont go online it acts like my ethernet cable isnt even plugged into my router this is what the logs on the modpack say i dont understand a lick of this at all...

Uncommonly high latency on my home network server

I'm hosting a Minecraft server for the All the mods 9 modpack in my home network on an additional pc. My friend also plays on said server and his ping isn't great but also not miserable (He plays over a Tunneled IP), but my ping (I play directly over the Ip of the Server) is extremly high, even tho the Server is directly next to me. At this point it is unplayable because I am standing at a point in the world and as soon as I move I get set back to where I was. If anyone knows how to fix this or at least get it to a playable level I'd really appreciate it. If you have any further questions to details I'm happy to answer them....
