Bought BioniX P 120mm A RGB fan and plug to motherboard. do i need to bios change RPM? or default?

I bought the PC case fan. and i do i need to change the RPM speed? or should i leave it default. it isn't too loud but i still can hear the fan noise.

I cannot attach my shock mount to my mic arm

Cannot attach my mount(presonus SHK-1) to my mic arm to matter what i try even though the thrading is the same.

OBS v29.1.2 (not responding)/lagging on gaming machine

so the past few days I've been having issues with OBS lagging/not responding, sometimes it will happen when I try to close out the program clicking 'exit'. That usually causes it to hang up and I have to force close it with Task Manager. 2 logs on the way; 1 running as Admin the other as normal. 2 PC setup, my laptop (streaming side) has no issues) If you need the specs on the laptop I'll happily do that.

OBS 29 and Source Record

Is anyone able to use Source Record with OBS 29.1.2 (64 bit)? I installed Source 0.3.2 with the Windows installer and restarted OBS (any ultimately my computer) and I do not have it in my filters for the scene (or source) in order to add. Note: I had a previous version of Source Record on previous versions of OBS, but when I went to check on the settings it would not open any properties / settings. I removed it and tried to re-add it thinking maybe because I had an older version of OBS that had upgraded and then downloaded the current Source Record plugin and that is where I am now with my issue....

Ok... Guys. Can someone explain me, why my GPU cache is Crammed>? Made several adjustment still, after buying license im not able to use DaVinci cause my GPU cache is full and DaVinci (and sometimes pc) crashes. What to do?...

OBS Application Audio Capture does not retain Spotify Connection

Each time I get ready to stream, I have to go into the Application Audio Capture source for Spotify and re-select it. Is there any way to get it to retain that information? Please @ so that I can see the reply.

What Steam Deck Version to buy

So im planning on getting a steam deck in the next few months but im really not sure on what version to get. It seems like ALOT to upgrade from 64gb to 256gb, $130 more. The storage becomes NVME ssd instead of emcc. I dont know if I want to spend that extra money for that because cant I just get a 512gb micro sd to have more storage that would last me longer? Idk if I would care abt the feel of a non nvme base storage of the 64gb. Im not sure im not good with this stuff....

AMD AV1 Recording

So this is mostly me trying to see if anyone else has had success with this. What were your settings? I am trying to do a wider screen so I can capture my cam outside of the game and then drag the other where ever if needed. I keep getting "an unspecified error occurred while recording". Now the recording is still going, but I do think it is because I am using fragmented MP4. Any insight into AV1 on AMD specifically would be awesome.

AMD Encoding/streaming settings for twitch.

Hi all I posted a while back and got a lot of help from my new rig. I switched to AMD from NVIDIA. What settings should I pay attention to for streaming to twitch? I am currently getting some very minor lag during my Hunt: Showdown streams, it seems to only be a small moment when walking my character will hang on the left foot for just enough to notice. It shows the FPS as being fine, and the latency is low as usual. Never had the issue before with my RTX 2080 super and this only really happens while streaming. I assume the AMD encoding may be to blame, but I am not sure. Current specs: Ryzen 9 7900x Radeon 7900xtx...

How To Make Custom Text Animation/Flow In OBS?

So I asked earlier if using Aitum or streamer bot would be possible to make a custom alert and while I understand how Aitum gets the user name from Twitch, how the rules works to time everything and how it takes my text source (which I set up already) from OBS after setting that up, I don't know how to generally animate my text. I just want to make a simple one that has the text fading in downward and then fade out after 9 seconds. Do you need a plugin for something like that or can that be done in OBS built-in?...

"Capture Audio via OBS" causing audio cutoff/crackling for Alerts.

I've recently been trying to split up all my audio channels in OBS so that everything can be adjusted as accordingly for individual volume balancing/audio ducking, though this means that the only way I can get my alerts to play and be heard on stream is to set those browser sources up via "Capture Audio via OBS". However, everytime I set this setting, whenever alerts come in, its briefly cut off at the start and usually has quite a bit of audio crackling, rendering it largely unusable for me. I've tried to look into everything I can to get it fixed, but nothing seems to be working so far....
