How much storage does lossless quality need?

my ssd only 170 gb storage(that is where i installed windows 10) left. but my hard drive has 1.61 tb storage space left. is it fine attempting to test. i will delete the fine after the test. im planning to record 3440x1440 resolution for 3 minutes at least. it wouldn't overload my hard drive? but if i delete it...will the file go to my ssd and overload it? what happens when im out of storage on my ssd?...

hdmi switch

so i bought a hdmi switch on amazon but for some reason it only shows me the inputs when hdmi 1 port is in use if i turn off the device in port 1 the second port stops showing on screen is there a reason it does this

Need assistant understanding audio output for XR1 Pro

Okay So i'm a bit loss and puzzled by this. I hook up the device fine I can see picture etc. Now issue i'm having is when I plug in my headset into the line-out(refer to picture) I get no audio just some static. I would like to hear audio from my desktop such as Chrome or VLC i hear nothing. However, I do hear audio from the xr1 pro line-out jack is when I turn on my ps4 (only audio from the PS4) no other applications. Now when I plug my headphones directly into my computer I hear audio from my ps4 and other applications no issue at all. I just dont know which sound settings I need to change for me to get audio through the (xr1 pro) line-out when my PS4 is turned off, so i dont have to go back and forth unplugging cables etc. Any help would be appreciated. Message #capture-cards...

OBS Not Responding after pressing Record and Stream

For some reason whenever I try to stream and record OBS Just freezes no logs or anything because it's freezing from within windows then it crashes.

How to take something from a video clip and transform that into a screen screen clip?

So I've looked up on youtube those "JOJO menacing" green screens and noticed how most of them were in such crappy quality, like super compressed. Since I do own all of the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Blu rays and could rip an episode out, I'd figured I make my own. One thing I don't understand is how do you extract whatever effect or character you like from an original video clip and then transform that said effect or character into a green screen clip? Most tutorials on Youtube only takes an already made green screened effect and put it in their video but they never show how those green screens were made originally... TLDR: How do I make my own green screen clips...

Guys did i bought the wrong PSU for 4070ti? Cosair RM650x

the Adapter that came with the 4070ti has pcie gen 5 that splits into 3 other pcie connector. the problem is...i only have 1 pcie slot on PSU and i could only fit 1 PCIe that slits into 2(6+2) pins

I have a question about screen capture using gpu with wallpaper engine max settings while recording.

I have a i5-9600k. i really want to replace motherboard to get a new cpu but can't at the moment so im stuck with it. i have x2 16gb(32gb) ddr4 3600mhz c18 ram and recently bought the rtx 4070ti for AV1 encoding. will this put a heavy strain on my cpu while recording? games im looking to record is genshin impact at 3440x2560p. And i would like to keep wallpaper engine running at max settings 60fps at all times

How to properly connected main pc AND consoles to streaming pc Capture card's HDMI IN/OUT?

SO I was dealing with the audio routing issue, which I THINK I fixed finally? However I have an HDMI switch that has the MAIN PC hdmi AND the consoles switch's HDMI plugged in to connect to the capture card's HDMI IN (Avermedia GC573). So whenever I turn on a console, the hdmi switch breaks connection with my main PC and only the consoles switch is connected to the capture card. I apparently cannot connect both consoles and MAIN PC at once. Do I need a different HDMI switch or do I need to buy an HDMI splitter in this case? What I'm trying to do is connect everything to the capture card on the streaming PC so I can keep all of my audio from the main pc while also being able to catch any game console footage as well if I choose to play something on the ps5 for example...

Camlink delay randomly started

So I've just moved and have been in the process of piecing back my setup. unfortunately since doing so my camlink 4k suddenly has a noticeable delay. Not sure what caused this. I've tried multiple mini hdmi cables as well as usb ports. any ideas?

corsair rm650 2021 650w. with rog strix 4070ti? safe?

Hello please help! I got a bit impatient not I want the Ti version. I see some post saying the 4070ti cn run with 650w psu 80+gold. I don't plan to over clock. But all the verison of rog strix 4070ti is oc version. Is it safe? I don't know how muc wattage my pc is using. I have i5 9600k cpu, 5 fans, rgb gpu sag holder, 1 ssd, 1 2tb hard river, trident 32gb ram. And I plan to have a dual monitor 3440x2560p, and 1920x1080p. I have 2 Bluetooth dongle. Is 650w okay...

Switched to a new AMD and just need some help.

So long story short I built a new PC and went to AMD. I have a Ryzen 9 7900x and a Radeon 7900 xtx. The big thing I want to get to learn is the Adrenaline App is a bit daunting after my switch from Geforce. Are there any settings I need to be aware of? Also as far as streaming what are the best practices to lower my resource usage (mainly CPU) and maximize my quality. I am currently using OBS 29.0.2. Previously I was using OBS 28 and Streamfx, but I would rather not pay for it and not even sure it is needed after looking at some of the stuff in the beta from one of EposVox's latest videos. Again any information will be helpful I am sure, I haven't used AMD in well longer than I can remember....

need help understanding bottleneck. Should i buy the 4070 non ti?

Hello, i would like to upgrade my 6600xt amd gpu and replace it with rtx 4070 but im worried i wouldn't get any improvements because of bottleneck. My cpu is i5-9600k and i rather not use the cash i have right now to replace mother board because i want the new graphics card. On google it says my CPU bottleneck 6600xt by 26% on 1080p im going to assume it would be even worse on the 4070 non ti card. can someone explain to me how bottleneck affects the performance in game? let say i got 110 fps in a game with the 6600xt....

FFMPEG - audio delay/sync commands

Recording with shadowplay I have my mic audio recorded separately but due to the processing on my microphone it has roughly a 600ms delay. Is there a way to resync the second audio track (my mic) so it starts 600ms earlier making it in time with the video and game audio? Thanks in advance 🙂...

Is there a way to get fast cpu? I was thinking of combining another mid tier cpu to get a better cpu because I'm worried of bottle neck. I'm current saving to get the rtx 4070
