No Longer Able to Send 8000kbps bitrate to Twitch
Hey everyone,
For the past year and a half, I've been sending ~7500-8000 bitrate to Twitch but just in the past month or so, it has started to cause major issues and I can't go above 6000.
In the past, sending above 6000 would show as unstable bitrate in the Twitch Dashboard but that was the extent of the issues.

Steam Recording colors very contrasty in video editor
Not sure if "translation" is the right word, but basically this is an intermittent issue depending on how my setup is at the current time and when it's not involving OBS it's kinda hard to wrap my head around.
Basically, I was playing Darkest Dungeon II with Steam Recording enabled. To my eyes ingame the contrast between light and dark seems natural, but taking an exported Steam clip into Premiere made it took VERY dark and contrasty. I'm wondering if that's something to do with Steam Recording being in beta, because considering it being a PC game and the fact that a capture card is not in use I'm confused why there's such a discrepancy

Streaming Quality Issues + Noise Gate Help
Hi! So i was trying to stream minecraft earlier and im having a weird quality issue, and i have it in other games too. Where it just looks really blurry/pixelated. Ive tried messing with bitrates and stuff but it doesnt seem to fix anything. Before i have had my bitrate at 8000, i also have a i9-12900k so i have the encoding stuff pretty high even though idkwhat alot of it means. I also have it outputting at 1080p, but in the past with recording ive had it scaled to higher resolutions to make it look better for recordings.
Also the noise gate thing, alot of times the mic will pick up just like mouth noises and it sounds gross and i dont want it to go through but no matter how much i mess with the noise gate, it seems to barely help. Granted, i really have trouble understranding noise gates. For example i think i have the settings right like i dont want anything under say -35db to be picked up, but sometimes it does, and other times if i say something above that, then theres a noise a second later at a lower volume, it will pick it up. It confuses me alot, any help would be apreciated!...

Brief Muddy Audio Issue
I previously recorded no commentary gameplay via desktop audio. It worked but was quiet. This past week I asked for help in the OBS discord and was told to use "Capture Audio (BETA)" on the game audio. This definitely seems to have solved the volume issue but I'm encountering a different problem now:
I keep getting about 50 seconds of messed up audio occurring around 13-16 minutes into a recording. Audio is fine before, then there is the issue, then it goes back to being fine...
I thought maybe it was clipping so I ran 5 tests, one with no adjustments, 2 with a limiter on the game audio of -2, and -5db, and a couple of no limiter but gain adjustments of -2, and -5db in the mixer. I got the issue in all 5 test recordings....

GoXlr and GoXlr mini connected to 1 pc
So my problem if you would call it that is a bit of niche one. I've got a single pc setup between my desk and my sim rig, both are on opposite sides of the room, I've got everything sorted but I still find audio a bit of a sore spot for me, especially while driving and streaming, I use the GoXlr XL on my desk and a Wavelink XLR on the sim rig (Wavelink app has been a PITA for me at times), is it possible to have 2 GoXlrs connected to 1 pc without causing any issues, having physical sliders while...

Mic picking up EMI noise
TLDR, Mic’s coil is picking up EMI from GPU. What should I do to eliminate it?
Hi, I'm new to this server.
I bought a RODE Podmic, a dynamic mic, to replace AT2020, hoping to reduce the audio leak from my K702 open back headphones entering the mic that cause an echo problem to my friends over Voip....
2 pc setup, audio passthrough questions linux/windows
Howdy Y'all.
I've have a question for you guys. I'm setting up two computers, one is windows 10 and the other is manjaro linux (gnome). The windows 10 rig is the main gaming rig. I'd like to connect the microphone to the linux rig so that I can handle voip with my other computer, among other things. Can you guys help me with 2 options: I'd like to be able to pass audio output straight from the windows 10 pc to the linux rig with minimal latency, and I'd also like to be able to do the same in reverse, passing the audio output from the linux pc to the windows pc (not mic in). This way I can use headphones to hear the audio output from both computers, with the microphone being on the linux computer. Please let me know if you have any good options for me that don't kill my performance!...
Recording camera footage through OBS in HDR?
Hi there EposVox community. Long time lurker and love how much content has helped me understand the recording landscape and how to capture HDR footage from games. In building my setup, I would like to be able to record HDR gameplay AND HDR camera footage to sort of future proof my videos as much as possible. I understand the processing times on YouTube can be really long, but I'm just starting out and don't need to post immediately when a new game drops.
That said, my question is, how in OBS do you set up to record or stream with both gameplay and camera / facecam footage to be in HDR? I have the settings properly applied to record gameplay in HDR, but am confused on how to also record HDR camera footage simultaneously. Is it only possible to record facecam footage separately (like through a webcam, DSLR, or phone source (like the new iPhones that support HDR recording)), or is it possible to capture HDR footage while using a DSLR or phone as a source in OBS while also recording HDR gameplay footage? Ideally, rather than recording the facecam / phone footage in HDR and saving it to the camera or phone's memory, I'd like to be able to record it into one OBS video. Thank you for your help!...
4k pro capture card issue(sorta)
for a while sometimes my capture card wont go pass signal from pc to tv from its output but will on obs, my only sorta semi fix is opening 4k capture utility and waiting for it to recooncet it even though that messes with obs capture. has anyone else have this problem or have a fix
Premier Pro technical question
Would it matter if I do my editing on 1920x1080 within the software but at the end render on 3840x2160? Thanks in advance.

OBS Profile & Level
Good Day/Night
I currently use OBS
Profile: High
& Level: Auto
for streaming at 720p 30 fps, as well as Profile: Main
& Level: Auto
for recording at 1080p 30 fps.
I multi-stream, & use a AMD ASROCK RX550 2G GDDR5....Editing from Horizontal to Vertical
What is the best way to edit my horizontal recordings into vertical? I assume there is a way...?
I see how to record vertically with OBS plug-ins but I don't want to record in 2 formats at the same time. I use Resolve but my knowledge is very basic. I currently only use it to simply cut stuff from recordings.
Thanks for any help!...
1440p YT Streaming Help - VOD shows 1080p as max quality
Hi guys, looking for some help getting my OBS settings right so that I can stream direct to YT at 1440p60 (upscaled from 1080p canvas) because when checking back in on the VOD straight after ending the stream it shows 1080p as the max quality option
Please see attached my OBS Studio settings - using a dedicated stream PC with an Arc A750 and have 50mbps upload so if needed I can crank up the bitrate and presumably the sharpening settings (though working toward a native 1440p workflow will hopefully be on the cards once I can get the monitors for that)...

Microphone sounds very Bass forward in recordings.
I just listened to a playback of my recording and the bass is just insanely aggressive to me. But when Im editing filters and I have the monitor mode on, I dont hear it. I think I sound pretty good during the monitoring playbacks.
What could be causing this?...
