Support Rules & Guidelines (READ FIRST)

Hello, and welcome to the new Support forum channel! 🙂 In order to ensure that everyone is treated fairly and receives a quick and clear response to their issues, we have some rules and guidelines here that we expect everyone to follow. Please keep in mind that support isn't guaranteed and is on a volunteer-basis. Furthermore, staff members are here to moderate, not to provide support, so don't expect them to provide it either. We do expect members of our community to engage and help others here, and you may receive the <@&877231868611809320> role depending on your activity and willingness to help others here. If you see other members asking for support in other channels, please direct them to this support forum so that they can search for their issue before opening a new support post (see Guideline #1).

⚠️ First of all, let's get to the Rules part of this: 1. All rules in the #rules channel applies here, this is not an exempted channel. All rules that are listed after this one extends the existing rule-set (the one that covers the rest of the Discord server) for this channel. Please follow all related rules at all times, and try to keep your anger under control as to not step on the toes of anyone trying to help you! 2. Do not reply to a support post about other unrelated problems - instead, search or make a new one for your issue or question. Support posts are dedicated spaces for players to discuss and help each other with a specific issue. If you have an issue or question that doesn't exist, make a new post for it instead of hijacking another one. See Guideline #1 below for more information. 3. This is not the place to discuss bans and other in-game punishments issued by our staff team, so refrain from posting about them here. As always, sensitive matters like these are dealt through #tickets, not the support forum. The same goes for anything related, such as (but not limited to) staff reports and complaints. Extra rules that are specific to this channel will be added at a later time, so this is a placeholder for now. 🌐 Now we can get to the Guidelines, or best practices for posting here: 1 - Before you open a support post for your issue or question, check to see if it's been brought up here before. If it has been asked before, go through those other posts first to see if a solution has been posted there. If there's no solution or none of them work for you, open a new post. You can use the search bar in the top-right of the Discord client to search for posts in this channel. 2 - When filling out your support post, directly describe the problem that you're having so people don't have to ask you afterwards. A typical example of this is opening a support post saying "help I have an issue" without fully describing the issue. When you fail to describe your issue or ask your question, you are wasting other peoples' time. 2.1 - Make the title of your support post as brief and descriptive as possible. Setting the title to something such as 'help' is not descriptive of your question or issue, and doesn't help future readers looking for a solution to their problems. 3 - If your support query is about game crashes, please keep in mind that we typically can't do much to resolve them. This is unless you and other members of the community can communicate and provide information about crash patterns (such as whether or not the crash happens when you spawn a specific car, go to a specific part of the map, etc). Game crashes require much more information to be provided, so if you don't know where to start it's best to start providing a semi-detailed rundown of what you were doing leading up to the crash. 4 - If you found an existing post helpful, react with the thumbs-up emoji. This helps us see how useful and helpful a post has been to people, and will make it more visible in the future when Discord implements sorting by reactions. Thanks for reading the rather simple rules and guidelines for this channel, and be sure to check out the #📝|rules channel for more information on what is and isn't allowed here (and the rest of the Discord server). We hope to see some quality posts and community help taking place here! ❤️
