Console open when I start the game on steam

Is it normal for my game to open the console when I load the game on steam ?

yes, its normal for 1.4 versions of tmodloader to first display as a command prompt

also for the game crashing, have you tried nuking dotnet?

go to manage local files and then delete dotnet and see if that works
