how come when reply to an interaction twice within ~5 seconds it gives an error

i have a slash command that is doing interaction.reply. if i run it and wait 10 seconds and run it again, it works fine. if i run it one after another, the whole app crashes and says "DiscordAPIError: Unknown interaction" what does this mean? why is it happening? what am i supposed to do?

if this happens just locally or at all, try searching for instances of your bot in your processes "task manager" or etc and delete node.js process and make sure you are not running your bot elsewhere
