motor failing when using true bed leveling

So I'm running into an issue where I'm trying to use a g32 true bed level. It tries raising the bed quickly but my back motor can't seem to keep up and it so it fails the level. I'm on a duet 3 6hc, using the vcore 3.1

Raise the current on your Z motors

is there a way I can tell what current I need? or is it trial and error?

The steppers perform the best and most accurately when they’re run as close to the rating as possible. The stock RR steppers are rated at 2.5A peak current. Consult the duet documentation for how much your drivers can handle. Also, be aware that the closer they’re to their rating the more torque they have.

Happened to me before and in my case, it was a loose grub screw on the coupling
