[SOLVED] Reset 2FA on Twitch Account

I know the title doesn’t really explain much but I don’t know how to put it in words. Basically I streamed on twitch earlier this year and stopped for a while then I got a new phone and SIM card so my number changed but when I tried signing into twitch it wouldn’t let me in without a code from the old number which I don’t have access to. I’ve tried going to twitch but they won’t help so is there any way to get back into my account?

Assuming you're referring to 2fa (2-factor authentication) as that is the only method I think Twitch offers that requires a phone number. Twitch uses a system called Authy to handle 2fa. When setting up 2fa your mobile number is linked to an Authy account for you automatically. You can update your mobile number via Authy by going to this link https://authy.com/phones/change/?proceed=true. For more info https://support.authy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033906974-Twitch-Login-Issues#:~:text=If%20your%20Twitch%202FA%20account,%2Fchange%2F?proceed=true.
I changed the phone number used for 2FA on my Twitch account If you need to update your phone number on your existing Authy account, but don't have access to another Authy app installation linked to your previous number, you will need to request a Phone Number Change. You can start the process here: https://authy.com/phones/change/?proceed=true.

Why didn't you just change the company without the number, here in spain it is something called "portability" (I don't know how it is called in english)
