Calibration cube quality
I've been struggling for over a week trying to tune my V Minion. Followed Ellis tuning guide as well. I'm stuck on what to do next. Any tips?

Top looks great, corners too. So I think your pa and flow are correct
Because it is pla, do you have enough cooling? Are all screws on Eva tight, also the 3 bed studs?
Yep, everything's super tight. I even just took the whole frame apart and re-squared everything. So everything is solid and the bed height has a variance of 0.1mm. Also the fan is always 100%.
I just re-printed the cube with a minimum layer time of 10 secs. Hardly improved anything.
Don't overtighten things though, especially the 4 screws of the rail cart
That can actually deform it and cause extra play
Have you tried lower temp? What's your print temp?
Yeah I meant the extrusions are tightly mounted together
195
Oh that's pretty low
Have you tried higher?
195 looked best on the temp tower
For high speeds PLA wants more temp and more cooling
Hm maybe I'll try a higher temp
I don't like the superslicer temperature tower, because it is too small for high speeds
but to me the problem looks like inconsistent extrusions
Layer times are too short
Even on larger prints the layer lines are just terrible
Maybe too low temp makes you underextrude based on speed
What fan do you have?
100% on a 4028 is too much maybe
it's a stock V minion with a 5015
A single 5015 is pretty weak if you want to print PLA fast. But you should be able to print a decent cube at lower speed.
I would try going a bit higher temp to make it easier on the extruder
I printed at 215 with 15 seconds of cooling for each layer, still looks exactly the same
What's your line width and nozzle size?
Only 2 walls? You could increase walls to slow down the layer time without slowing down print speed as much
0.45 width, nozzle is standard 0.4
but this doesn't seem to be a temperature problem
I think it's the LGX lite just not extruding consistently
Did you try other filaments?
Yep, including a fresh spool of hatchbox PLA
still get terrible layer lines on everything
That corner you see the lines being pulled out of the corner. That suggest bad layer adhesion due too low temp
That makes sense, but how can we explain the regular calibration cube looking the same as in the original images even when printed at 215c @ 13 mm/s?
No idea. Maybe try 0.5 line width too, to squish the layers together a bit more
