X motion jerking in Y direction, losing center.

I tried to start my first print and suddenly when moving in the X direction on the bed the gantry would jerk back in the y axis. If I move in the Y axis it also jerks slightly in the X. When I tried my first print it lost the center location and ended up attempting to print on the rear right corner of the bed, too. It's never had an issue with motion up until now and since I put in the first print it's doing it consistently. Video included.

Belts should be equally tensioned otherwise such things can happen. Also check the bearings…

well, I took the cable wrap off and it's behaving better now. Wonder if something in that was causing interference

Things like chains or sleeves can push/pull the toolhead. Check if there’s some tension (in special positions/directions)

well, the cables for that are loose enough to have some slack at all points. And of course after I check on that, it gets worse. Belts are tensioned well and are moving freely but now when I run the kinematic function it won't move to the front left.

Are your pulleys fixes properly on the motor shafts?

Pretty sure they are. It never had this issue until today. Heck it was going fine just before the first print. Only thing I changed was reversing steppers on the extruder.

Check the pulleys, the bearing stacks (idlers) and the belt carefully.

The grubscrews of the pulley (that’s what dstrelnikov did mean a few messages before). They can get loose if not secured by a threadlocker

They are, and I'm not sure if it matters but I am noticing the left belt moving up and down depending on the direction it goes. I'll test them after work. OK so it seems it was the belt tension but I think they still need tweaks. Getting very steady layer shifting along the y axis. Y axis is the upper belt, right?

Ain't pretty but it printed.

Think we solved this issue at least. Thanks y'all.

I also suffer from the same problem, maybe it is less obvious; the belts when the gantri moves go up and down a bit and I have to figure out how to solve it; how did you solve the problems? thanks
