what i personally do is
• download the repository as a zip
• put the mods i’m working on in the resulting mods folder
• open the downloaded sandboxels

in the browser and enable the downloaded mod in there (sandboxels.r74n.com and the local file have different

• eventually commit the mod to github

(so basically downloading Sandboxels and developing from there)

you can either

hit “Clear Mods” in settings (disables all mods) (easiest way)
or
if you have a shit ton of mods enabled and don’t want to re-enable them all, find localStorage in the console, find the enabledMods key, and delete the entry with the file path from the array

(i should note that enabling github mods in a local copy is the same as enabling them on the website i.e. you can just type the file name)

I host the mod on a website (you can use localhost) and then paste the URI into sandboxels

i'm pretty sure youd have to manually select the files every time u open the game, unless browsers can just have access to files like that

to get this perfect "wrapping" effect, each vertical pair has to be on its own channel, or else these will just teleport randomly around the blue output portals
