Transistor

Hey, there I've read the Read Me First thing and have attached my log file as instructed. I've also made sure that I'm up to date on my wine dependencies. I found another thread somewhere in this discord that said that more up to date versions of wine won't work with Transistor. My question is, how do I use an older version of wine to launch Transistor? I also am not sure if there are other workarounds that do allow it to work with up to do date versions of wine. Any help you can give would be appreciated

Try this, go to Wine Manager inside Heroic, install latest Wine-GE-Proton (I think it's currently 7-34), then go to the game's settings in heroic, set that version of wine and also turn on the DXVK option, then delete this folder /home/dalinar/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/Transistor and then launch the game if it still failes, share a new log

you didn't turn on DXVK "autoInstallDxvk": false,, also, did you put this into legendary's config.ini file? if so, why?

Heroic uses Legendary to run Epic games, for some reason it is passing that game_parameters as shown in the logs but I don't know where that's coming from (we don't set that in Heroic), you still didn't turn on the DXVK option in the game's settings also, I see you have 2 GPUs in your system, turn on the use dedicated graphics card option too just in case

I've turned on those options and now I'm waiting for it to either start up or crash again. It seems to be hanging

not sure, you can try though, there should be a file at /home/dalinar/.config/legendary/config.ini I imagine that game parameter is set there

Looking on that I thought people were getting it to work. Am I misunderstanding? Mmm, looking again I think I did miss that people on the steam deck weren't able to get it working
